Treatment for Plantar Fasciitis
One of the most common foot problems that people face is plantar fasciitis. It is caused by a strain and inflammation of the soft tissue on the bottom of your feet. It is often centered in the heel of the foot, but can also be in the foot’s arches. Many people with plantar fasciitis state that the pain is often present the first thing in the morning. Some people with a tight Achilles tendon have found that it causes the pain to be worse.
The good news is that with conservative treatment almost 90% of cases can improve within six months. At Pedco Foot Care Clinic Inc. we can help with a variety of treatments by recommending various stretching exercises and providing other measures to help prevent the condition from worsening. In extreme cases, surgery may be required, but we want to prevent that. To learn more about how we can help with plantar fasciitis please contact us. We are located in St. Catharines and Fort Erie.
